Paul Matthew Barreto is a documentary filmmaker and photographer based in the Los Angeles area.

His documentary, Ma’am Tere, has been screened throughout the US and internationally in the Philippines, the UK, and Australia. It was an official selection for the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific Film Festival 2023, Lift-Off Global Network Los Angeles 2024, and Dreamanila International Film Festival 2024.

The focus of his work and interests include the analysis the Philippine-American diaspora and exploring nuances in Filipino culture.
